→ wildlife: our cabin is tucked away in the woods, offering a peaceful mountain escape surrounded by nature Because of the natural setting, you may hear or see some local wildlife. The cabin has a roof with no attic, so sounds like rain or the occasional squirrel on the roof may be more noticeable. It's all part of the cozy, close-to-nature experience! We also perform monthly pest control, but due to the forest setting, insects may occasionally find their way inside, especially during certain seasons. This is a normal part of being in the mountains, and we appreciate your understanding as we balance comfort with the natural environment. While bear sightings are rare, they are a possibility in this area. If you do happen to see one, whether in the park or near the cabin, please enjoy it from a safe distance and do not feed it. For your safety and theirs, it’s best to admire wildlife without interaction.
→ early and late checkouts: we do our best to accommodate requests but are dependent on our cleaning team’s schedule Requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Unapproved late checkouts will be charged $50 per hour, rounded up to the next full hour.
