There are two bedrooms plus a spacious loft area with a quiet place to work if you must! The cabin is an easy drive to the beautiful Alexandria Bay where you can take a day trip into Canada. Enjoy this pet-friendly piece of heaven.

You might just catch a glimpse of a bald eagle fly over as you relax outdoors, or, if you're lucky, you will see the river otters! The cabin is conveniently located one mile from horseback trails.

you will have the entire cabin to yourself You have access to all three wooded acres on the property, including the fire pit area, stairs to the water, parking area with roundabout and grassy area out back, overlooking the Independence. There is a washer and dryer for your use, propane and electric grill, and another grassy, running area next to the cabin for your furry friends. The upstairs owner's closet is the only part of cabin inaccessible to guests.

Summary: Our stay was absolutely amazing. The cabin and views around the river are astonishing. We had plenty of snow during the week, which made for a gorgeous winter wonderland.Sue is very attentive to any needs that arise. We would be delighted to stay here again.I can’t say enough good about the cabin, location and the owner. I’m looking forward to our next trip already.
