hot tub & plunge policy
hot tub use: please avoid using the hot tub immediately after it’s been serviced, as chemical levels are temporarily elevated We have weekly pool cleanings, this day may fall on your stay and your cooperation will keep the hot tub clean and balanced at all times.
please rinse off any oils, lotions, or substances before entering the spa, as these can affect water quality and cause discoloration
no drinking in the hot tub, please
be sure to keep the cover on when not in use, especially since we're in the desert and debris can easily get into the water
any misuse of the hot tub may result in an additional charge for extra maintenance
photoshoot & video
no un permitted photoshoots or videoing at the home If you would like to use our home for those purposes please send us a message. Any unauthorized filming will result in a $5000 violation and production fee.

pets policy:
additional fee of $195/pet per stay (max 2 pets allowed) Cats and other animals are not allowed at this time. You are required to disclose before booking. However, they are not allowed to swim in the pool or hot tub. Please be mindful, as their fur can cause the filters to clog. Please be aware of desert plants and animals. Keep your pets away from them as we want them to be safe. We strongly suggest you use a leash and accompany your pets while enjoying the space because of the cactus and wildlife. You are 100% responsible for yourself and your pets.
visitors:
please inform us in advance if you plan on having visitors during their stay You may not have additional guests unless previously authorized by the host. otherwise, you will be fine up to $250 per guest
broken items:
we understand that accidents happen, if anything breaks down (even if it's your fault), please let us know so we can send someone to fix it or replace it for you and future guests You will be held liable for any damages.
plumbing:
like ours, most houses in joshua tree are on a septic tank system For this reason, nothing can be flushed down the toilet except toilet paper. Following these guidelines will avoid problems with the plumbing. If it is determined that the pipes have been clogged due to misuse, a $1000 repair fee will be charged.
