a short stroll takes you to a delightful sandy cove, known locally by some as ‘sian's cove' (sian owns st agnes!) Borth Y Guest has a good restaurant and a lovely cafe on the front. A short drive or a reasonable walk away is Porthmadog, which has interesting shops and galleries, and restaurants - try Yr Hen Fecws or The Ship. You can ride on the Welsh Highland and Ffestiniog Railways, or venture into the mountains of Snowdonia.
