In this part town one is close to the wonderful open spaces of Inverleith Park and the Botanical Gardens. The Water of Leith meanders through Stockbridge and its walkway is well worth exploring β the energetic can walk either to Leith or out to the Modern Art Gallery and beyond. Keen swimmers have the Victorian Glenogle Baths on their doorstep β these have been undergoing restoration and are due to re-open in July 2010.
