the space -
you are renting the entire home You will have access to the entire place!2 bed and 1 bath, with an incredible outside covered patio living space that flows into the backyard.
you will have a hard time finding an entire home listing in salt lake city with this much style this was an extensive 7-month renovation project and it's heavily appointed with desirable amenities!
this is fully fenced, and gated, and has a small garage to park in (low clearance please be careful and don't pull into the garage if you can't fit)
you will be able to enjoy the gazebo, and the wall mural uniquely painted by a local artist
you will be so comfy in our home that you may be completely in contact to stay on with your favorite humans!
we remodeled this space over the top! the home is packed with technology (bluetooth shower vent/light/speaker, led light built into medicine cabinet vanity in bath, and all high-end appliances and more!
please note: there is a freeway wall right outside the front door, but the street is wide with tons of street parking and, while you can hear the gentle buzz of the freeway, we have sound machines at night and earplugs available, and it's not bad
other details to note -
there may or may not be an airstream parked in the back out of the way during your stay! it's not for you to use but it does provide some additional interesting backdrop and intrigue for your insta-worthy pics, especially against the mural backdrop with our skater and coffee "rise&grind" theme
house rules -
1) locals must message us before booking NO EXCEPTIONS PLEASE.
2) occupancy limits: we do not allow more than 6 guests in or on the property at any time - violation of which will result in the removal of all guests from the property immediately without refund You also agree to pay for the "additional guest fee" associated with your reservation if applicable (just because it can sleep up to 6 doesn’t mean it's all included in the nightly rate).
3) check-in: this is a self-check-in property You certify that you are willing and able to follow the instructions that are provided by Vrbo through the house manual or check-in guide. You can find our house manual and check-in guide here and on the Vrbo platform on our listing. You also agree that you will not contact your Vrbo host BEFORE reading the house manual and the entire listing.
4) fees: we don't allow smoking There is a $200 per day fee for every day of your booking if it is found that you have been smoking on the property. There is a minimum $50 LATE CHECKOUT FEE if you are there longer than you have been authorized as our housekeeper charges us in such a case. You further agree to compensate the host/co-host in full for any financial loss that is suffered as a result of breaking the rules set forth.
we allow 1 dog under 50lbs as we pay for a short-term rental insurance policy allowing pets We charge $25/night or $150m(whichever is less) after you book, through the Vrbo platform. This fee is not an additional cleaning fee. When you bring a pet you agree to a “zero impact pet policy” meaning that when you depart there will be no additional work required to clean up as a result of a pet being on-site. Animals are not allowed on any furniture and we don’t have any carpet other than area rugs. Please help us by closing the bedroom doors to keep your pet on the hard surface areas and off of the beds.
if you have a service animal we are 100% compliant with these laws but you are still asked to inform us ahead of time or it will naturally be assumed it is a pet, and you are still responsible for all cleaning and/or damage to the premises that occurs as a result of the animal ESA in Utah is not the same as a service animal and will be treated as a pet.
5) quiet hours are from 10 pm-8 am
- please remove shoes/boots before entering the unit ski equipment and bike or other recreational equipment must be kept in the entry area!
- if there are any signs of illegal drugs or smoking you will pay a minimum fee of $200 or more as decided by your host and you will be required to vacate without refund
- we do have, and do monitor our exterior security cameras in front and in the back so please adhere to the rules :) they are cameras which is motion activated and can record video and audio The three cameras are - one on the front porch, one above the garage, and one in the garage.
these rules may seem intense, but we are very easygoing when our lovely guests follow the rules and most everyone does it's our pleasure to host you!
alterations/changes: once you have confirmed your booking, any modifications to the dates or guest count may be treated as a cancellation and therefore be subject to the cancellation policy The host retains the right to charge for lost dates you have removed with an alteration of at least a partial amount to the discretion of the host..
