Nestled in a secluded hedged garden, in the private grounds of a Victorian Rectory, lies a perfect and cosy Shepherd’s hut, the ideal location to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
we are excited to welcome you to our idyllic rural retreat in south west somerset We have recently created a bespoke fully heated and insulated Shepherd’s Hut, furnishing it with antiques and our favourite vintage pieces from the local area. The hut is incredibly light and airy with pretty views of your secluded garden. We live in the Rectory with our two dogs and a cat. We will leave you in peace to enjoy your stay but if you have any questions we are on hand to answer them.
the hut has a fully equipped kitchen area, a separate en suite bathroom with a shower and wc There is a comfortable double bed with plenty of storage below. The hut is insulated with a an efficient underfloor heating system so is very comfortable all year round. It is the perfect location for a couple or solo traveler looking for somewhere with all the modern conveniences whilst also remaining unique, a tad quirky and allowing you to connect to nature.

30 minutes to the nearest beach, the hut is the ideal location to explore everything from the rugged and wild jurassic coast, to a number of beautiful stately homes and gardens There are also fantastic walks from the house.
