Summary: Although the house was nice enough and sufficiently clean, we had a frustrating time with the lack of information and responsive re: this property. For instance, there was no information as to where the lock box for the house key was located. It was stressful and time consuming trying to find where it could be found. After we finally located the lock box and got the house key, quite odd but once we unlocked the door(s) we were unable to lock any of them later. Perhaps it’s on us for not being able to figure out how to lock the doors on our own. But then trying to get assistance from the owner or property management company was both time consuming and ultimately a waste of time. I talked with two separate individuals about how to get the doors to lock so we could secure the house when we left for the beach or other errands but they were unable to help and said they would send a maintenance person to stop by to fix / address the issue but no one ever stopped by. Perhaps we’ve been really lucky in the past but previously with other properties we have always received sufficient info to locate the lock box for the house key and on the very rare occasion we needed help with something the owner or management company would be very responsive and helpful to fix the issue. The issues noted are ultimately not that big of a deal but we would not recommend this property as there are plenty of other properties on the Oregon coast at which you will receive better info and service.
