Take a short drive down Carolina Beach Ave to the shops, restaurants, bars, and donuts (look for Britt's Donuts) on the Boardwalk. Looking for other fun activities, drive a little further down to the NC Aquarium at Ft. Fisher and the historic sites nearby.
