Clayton Cottage is a real home from home, nestled in the tiny village of Howtel in a row of 10 traditional cottages, on a minor country road. all you can see from the front is rolling hills!

families are very welcome and there's so much to do and see locally, with castles at both ford and etal just 5 minutes away We're happy for you to bring one well behaved dog.
three bedrooms upstairs; double, twin and small single Modern bathroom downstairs with bath and shower and lovely open plan lounge/dining area, with smart TV, real fire, settees, and a great view. Kitchen and utility has all you need and although the cottage has heating, we also make sure you have wood and coal for the real fire stove if desired.
clayton cottage is situated right on the edge of the cheviot hills, so the views are spectacular and you can walk in any direction straight from the cottage the local farm is well maintained and quiet - apart from the odd sheep in the fields around us!

we also use our little cottage regularly, so it's kept in tip top condition For your safety we've fitted double hand rails on the stairs, thermostatic shower and smoke and CO2 alarms. (No smoking please.)
