this is a country home surrounded by nature While we treat the exterior to help prevent pests, it’s still possible for a curious mouse or bug to sneak inside. Even the cleanest homes in rural areas experience this now and then. If you're highly sensitive or phobic, this may not be the best fit.

the house is located off a 2-mile dirt road with no streetlights If you’re unfamiliar with rural roads, we recommend arriving before dark for a smooth, stress-free check-in.

the catskills are beautiful in winter—but also snowy! we recommend:
awd, fwd, or 4wd
winter or all-season tires with good tread
2wd or rwd vehicles are not recommended in snowy or icy weather
the driveway is plowed and shoveled to the door A shovel is available for your use to maintain a safe walkway.
