No.2 Bridge cottage was built in the 1800's and for a period of time operated as a local drinking house, and clearly a popular one, as the worn stone doorstep shows! The cottage boasts lots of character including a stone fireplace, country cottage garden and large open plan kitchen - dining room.
the space is entirely self contained, but situated only 3 miles from the owners so we're always on hand to help make your stay the best possible
the spacious back garden, kitted out with table and chairs and a summer house offers the opportunity to watch and listen to the many visiting birds (from tiny blue tits to red-bellied wood peckers), whilst enjoying views of the surrounding fields and woodland The large garden shed can be used to securely store mountain bikes etc if needed. The garden is securely fenced so is dog friendly.
inside, the downstairs consists of an open-plan kitchen/dining room with french doors overlooking the garden The large lounge boasts the beautiful stone fireplace and plenty of comfortable seating to relax on. The cottage has plenty of books, DVDs and games to keep all visitors entertained. The TV has freeview channels for your use and a HDMI cable to connect laptops if desired. Please note the cottage is in a very rural location so downloads speeds are variable and it is not always possible to stream television / films.
