Positive: We had a pleasant stay at Cedar House Ocean View & Access. The ocean view is truly beautiful and was the highlight of our visit. The accommodation was adequate for a relaxing getaway.
Negative: A few small improvements and clarifications could make the experience even better for future guests. As the property requests that toilet paper not be flushed due to the septic system, adding a bidet attachment or toilet tushie would make this arrangement more comfortable and convenient. The beach access is nice, but it should be noted that it involves many steep, narrow steps and some uneven terrain. Guests with mobility concerns or families travelling with small children may find it challenging to access. We also found that the shower fixture seems to be reversed, with the hot and cold settings opposite of what is expected. It takes a little adjusting to find the hot water, but once you do, the shower is quite comfortable. Finally, the exterior of the property would benefit from some yard maintenance, particularly trimming the overgrown weeds along the walking paths. With a few minor updates and some additional information in the listing, this property could provide an even better experience for future guests.
