about this space
our lovely little cottage is about 200 years old It's cosy and slap bang in the middle of some of the best scenery the UK has to offer. Excellent for walking, cycling or simply site seeing the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District National Park. Castleton is such a pretty little town with it's own castle, 7 watering holes (all dog friendly) fabulous restaurants and delightful cafes. We are situated between Bakewell and Buxton. please note we do not charge for cleaning or dogs - you are on holiday!
the space
our cottage is typical of the area, however, we have renovated it to a very high standard You will have all the mod cons required these days with the feeling of living in a historical building. My back ground is tourism so I know what you want when staying away from home. This is a cosy little place and from the outside looks quite small, but inside the rooms are moderate in size, perfect for up to four people, 2-3 dogs depending on their size. The sleeping arrangements are 1 double bedroom and the second bedroom is classed as a small double with a queen size bed.

you are hiring the entire cottage, with total privacy A key is supplied so that you can come and go at your own times. Currently there is no access from the back of the building with no rear garden.
