Summary: The property was beautiful, but there were many problems with the accommodations. -Three of the four beds were unstable, and one of them was completely broken, with missing legs. My husband had to spend several hours when we arrived tightening every bolt and rigging the broken bed so that our daughter could sleep in it. -The toilets were beautiful, but the toilet seats didn’t fit them and were not bolted down. You had to brace yourself to use them. -Bedding was dirty when we arrived. We had to launder four sets of bedding before we could sleep the first night. -Floors were dirty when we arrived -Ants everywhere…in every room -No supplies. Shower dispensers were empty, no paper towels, no salt and pepper. -Ill-equipped kitchen -NO instructions for anything: pool, fireplace, fans, checkout. No helpful information whatsoever. -AND MANY MORE And most importantly: Communication was POOR. I had to call the host on the day of check-in because I had heard nothing. And when we discovered the problems with the rental, I got a few texts, an offer of free late check out, and nothing more. The free late check-out was nice, but this property is certainly not anyone’s primary residence (which by law it should be) and is not being managed well. The host offered no help or mitigation of the many, many issues. I can’t recommend this place to anyone.
