End of terrace cottage with many exposed granite walls and wooden beams. Sunroom at the front. 2 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with bunk beds. Bathroom with toilet, bath and shower. Second toilet. Open plan downstairs with lounge/diner and kitchen. The dining table comfortably seats 6. There is a piano which you are welcome to play. Central heating and log burner. Fully enclosed garden with lawn, patio and decking area. There is off road parking for several cars.
ashton is a small village between helston and penzance It is 1 mile from the coast, but you can see the sea (just!) from the master bedroom. Praa Sands is just 2 miles away as is the beautiful harbour village of Porthleven, which has several good pubs and restaurants including Rick Stein's. St Michael's Mount is 10 minutes away. Land's End, St Ives and the stunning Lizard Peninsula are all within half an hour's drive, and further afield is the Eden Project. There are many National Trust properties nearby, and we are in the heart of Poldark country. The cottage is set back from the main road, and is therefore quiet and free from traffic noise. The Lion and Lamb pub is about 150yards away. We are 150 yards from the main bus route between Penzance and Falmouth.
