Cumberland Cottage is a beautifully presented, pet friendly, property located in the heart of the tranquil Cumbrian village of Orton. Built in 1632 the cottage is one of the oldest properties in the village. Formerly part of the Duke of Cumberland Inn and more recently the village store and post office, Cumberland Cottage was lovingly renovated in 2012 to provide well equipped, contemporary holiday accommodation of a very high standard.

on your arrival you will find a tea tray with biscuits or a homemade cake and a fresh pint of milk in the fridge We always ensure that the cottage has a starter supply of essential times such as washing up liquid, toilet rolls, kitchen paper, tin foil, cling film, hand soap and salt & pepper.
