the beach hut is "off grid" There is a water tank under the hut that is to be filled using containers and the nearby standpipes to fill them up. The water is pumped from the tank to the sink in the kitchen which is hot and cold. We recommend that the water from the tank is only used for washing up and cleaning. A separate jug is provided to get drinking water from the standpipes. there are two standpipes located 15 m from the hut,

how to access the hut:
cars are not permitted onto mudeford spit but for the last part of your journey there are several options: -
park at mudeford quay car park (bh23 4ab, offers daily and weekly rates) then get the mudeford ferry over to the spit The hut is a couple of minutes' walk away.
please note that the mudeford ferry sailing times vary and can be found on their own website
park at hengistbury head car park (bh6 4el), you can then walk or cycle approximately 1 mile on a flat path through a nature reserve
there is also the option of the land train from the head car park, or booking the land rover to take down your luggage
