our cabin is located in essex, mt; a small community sandwiched between glacier national park and the great bear wilderness Essex is a quaint rail-road town with a hand-full of year-round residents. We are nestled between the tracks and the creek and guests can expect to hear passing trains as well as the muddled sounds of Essex creek.
we are minutes away from the walton ranger station (a quieter entrance entrance into the park), 309 miles from West Glacier, 29.7 miles from East Glacier, MT and right across the railroad tracks from hiking trails into the Great Bear Wilderness. The cabin has two covered porches and a lovely patio area that includes a fire pit.
the cabin is small but cozy It has an open-floor plan that includes a king-sized bed in a loft, a full bathroom, a small but complete kitchen, and a sofa. There is no television but guests are welcome to use the WIFI to stream and entertainment they desire.
