in the warmer seasons enjoy easy access to hiking at nearby mt Kearsarge and Winslow State Parks, a 58-mile long rail trail for running or biking, swimming on the far end of Bradley Lake, Mountain Biking at Highland Mountain Bike Park, and golfing at Kearsarge Valley Golf Course. Paddle out into the lake (two kayaks, one canoe and life jackets provided), or fish for smallmouth bass, pickerel, and perch. Spend evenings catching fireflies and roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. The waterfront is down a steep hillside from the cottage. At the bottom there is a flat area with a firepit and dock. The boats are stored near the waterfront but require two people (or one strong person) to lift and bring them to the water. This is not an ideal property for very small children.
