what you should know about the great heights? we love the heights! the neighborhood is a great mix of all houston has to offer From our place, it is an easy walk to tons of great restaurants, bars, parks, run/bike trails, and convenience stores. Plus, it is an easy commute! We are less than 5 miles from downtown - around a 20-minute commute by car or 30 by bike. There are bus lines on Shepherd (2 blocks away) that go to the medical center. Easy access to I-10 and I-45 despite being in a walk-able and quiet neighborhood. Fun fact - about 50% of the energy consumption of the house is produced by the solar panels on the roof.
