dogwood pond: the property features a 2-acre pond (commonly referred as piano lake due to it's shape) that is managed by a professional aquatics manager every month throughout the year and is safe for swimming and fishing We have plenty of towels for swimming (separate from the bathroom towels) for both humans and dogs. For those who enjoy fishing, the pond is stocked with Bass with some Blue Gill. After the Bass spawning season is over (late May), caught Bass has ranged from 10-14 inches (3-4 pounds). Most folks that come up are catch-and-release but we have had folks (especially our aquatics manager) that enjoy a good pond Bass dinner! :).
