Summary: At half the price, this rental might have been worth it. But, it was not at all the experience we expected for the rate we paid. The manager was very nice (as stated in other reviews), but the treatment we received was not commensurate with the expense and the "luxury property" label. There were no extra household supplies (i.e. we had to buy paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, counter spray & Garbage Bags). We have come to expect these basics in every VRBO, and should really be available in this "luxury" property. Speaking of things we expect: there was no manual, so we missed trash day & had overflowing bins for several days. We had no instructions on the sound system/electronics. The pool didn't work, and although the manager had someone "fix" it on our second day, their solution was to have us heat the jacuzzi and pool as one entire unit which was (one) really wasteful and (two) rather uncomfortable. For the three business owners who needed to get work done during our trip, we were out of luck - the internet was down the entire time. While the home is beautiful, the surround neighborhood is not so nice. Imagine iron bars on neighbor's windows, broken down cars, un-mowed lawns.Yikes! Finally, this is not a 5 bedroom house. It's a 3 bed-house and a "casita". It was not the "together" experience we wanted. Bummer all around.
