This pair of pretty stone barn conversions sit overlooking the well tended grounds and private lakes of the owners 40-acre estate. Coarse fishing is available free of charge for guests (licence required). They have been thoughtfully furnished and renovated to provide quality accommodation where guests can relax and unwind. Located in south Shropshire, just outside the village of Hope Bowdler, with walking direct from your door onto the hills of Hope Bowdler and Church Stretton, or gently stroll around the fields and woodlands of the estate, enjoying the varied wildlife.
positioned between the historic towns of much wenlock, birthplace of the modern olympic games, and church stretton, home of the long mynd, both towns offer a good selection of shops, bars, deli's and restaurants Shropshire's most well known towns of Ludlow, Shrewsbury and Ironbridge are all easily accessible, and the borders for Wales and Herefordshire are also nearby. The River Severn runs through the county and offers boat trips from select locations, as well as canoeing and kayaking. National Trust properties Attingham Park in Shropshire, Powys Castle near Welshpool, and Berrington Hall in Herefordshire are all within an hours drive. Acton Scott working farm, Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, Stokesay Castle, Ludlow festivals, castle and racecourse are all nearby, as is Hereford Cathedral, with its chained library.
