Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Clean, quiet, warm room with very comfortable bed. Excellent "Resident parking" allowing a weekend's parking opposite the hotel for £5. Friendly helpful nature of Jane. Hotel is 10 minutes walk from the centre of the town.

Negative: Only a very minor point, but the large bedside lights took up most of the bedside tables. This meant a lack of places to put glasses, reading material, keys, mugs etc. - a small low narrow table under the window would have been sufficed.

Summary: Pleasant stay, with facilities matching those well described in the promotions.
