The Bus Stop is the perfect place to immerse yourself in NSW Aussie nature; with bird watching and a range of wildlife coming to visit including wombats, kangaroos and echidnas.
A short 5 minute drive and you’ll be at Hampden Bridge- Australia’s oldest suspension bridge.
2 more minutes and you’ll be enjoying a coffee and pie in Kangaroo Valley village.
The Bus Stop is the perfect escape!
This 1997 Mercedes Converted Bus is designed to suit all your needs during a luxury trip away to make you feel comfortable and cosey, whether you are getting away for an adventure or for a break from the everyday.
The Bus Stop features an outdoor iron-claw hot water bath tub and shower, a brick outdoor firepit and a gas BBQ for you to enjoy and relax.
Inside you’ll also find a shower and flushing toilet.
The kitchenette is fully equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave, convection oven with a 2 burner stove top and you have a choice of a selection of teas, instant or ground coffee for the filter drip coffee machine.
There is also a TV you can connect your device to to catch up on Netflix or multiple books for some light reading.
Just down the road you’ll find the oldest suspension bridge left in Australia, where you can walk across and then take a walk down to the river for a swim or to sit and take in the natural beauty. There are a few canoe hires around the valley if you prefer a paddle on the river or there are multiple hiking spots within the area.
Explore Kangaroo Valley Village and also take a short drive either sides of the mountain to view Cambewarra Lookout or Fitzroy Falls.
The historic town of Berry is a short 25 minute drive away over the mountain.
Other things to note:
*Due to security, check in details and directions to The Bus Stop will be sent the day before you are due to check in.
*We ask that guests wipe down the BBQ after use, using the cleaning wipes supplied. It’s easier to clean whilst warm and keeps the bbq in better condition for yourself and the next guests.
If the BBQ is left dirty, an additional cleaning fee of $50 will be issued.
*A reminder will be sent the morning of check out to let you know check out is at 11am. It’s really important that guests leave by 11am. Late check out can sometimes be arranged, but must be approved by host prior to check out. Unless a late check out has been approved, a fee of $50 will be issued.
