β’ the closest grocery store is located 20 km away and there is a small convenience store walking distance which offers basic items There are two restaurants in Gamboa, one requires a reservation in advance and the other is the Gamboa Resort (food isn't great but the view sure is!). It is advisable to plan out meals prior to arrival or contact us for personal chef recommendations.
β’ due to the location of this home, it is advised that you do not book it if you are uncomfortable with wildlife The Bird House is situated in a tropical rainforest which has a diverse ecosystem, and this means you will be in close contact with nature. There are bats in Gamboa and on occasion they can enter the house if doors are left open. However, once they are oriented they will fly out.
