Positive: We arrived back one night in the dark to find a towering giraffe blocking the driveway! Kuleni Park is a magical place filled with zebra and all sorts of antelope and duiker. No monkeys unfortunately. Tchagra house is expansive and comfortable with high ceilings and a long, spacious terrace. Both large bedrooms have equally roomy ensuites. A guest toilet is also available. Kuleni is a quick 15 or 20 minutes from the Big 5 within Hluhluwe's gates. No need to self cater either as a great local restaurant, Delissh, is open from morning to early evening just outside Kuleni Park's gates. We didn't use the pool but it's positioned maybe 25 metres away in front of a small chalet that is tucked away to the left of the main house and also available from the owners as a third bedroom. Security on the gate are very pleasant and Nancy the housekeeper was lovely. A perfect getaway!
