- the spa house is a two-story, private, adventure hideaway Nestled in a quiet neighborhood that joins to trails that lead to Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and the Corral Trail (mountain bike trails).
- before entering the front door, you will see the sauna room, to the left you will entering the house, you will see the living room with log fireplace, double recliner, single recliner, full-size couch, and smart tv w/ dvd player You will move next to the kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, Keurig, coffee pot, toaster, breakfast bar w/ three stools. The dining area has electric fireplace mounted in a river rock wall w/ table that seats four. Livingroom and kitchen/dining area offer beautiful views of mountains from the wall of windows. Make breakfast and enjoy your coffee as you watch the sunrise! Off the Livingroom/dining area opens to the front porch with (seasonal) outdoor dining table with 6 chairs. Don’t worry, we do not neighbors across the street, so you will still have your privacy enjoying the beautiful views after a day of hitting the slopes or enjoying a beverage as the sun goes down after a day of exploring Lake Tahoe.
- the hallway off the kitchen is where the laundry room is located, with a washer and dryer for your use Also in that hallway is the entry to the guest bath, guest room and steps to the second floor. The guest room does have a murphy bed, so that give the option to fold the bed up for extra space. The slider to the back deck is through the guest room. The backyard is fenced to keep your furry friend safe.
- the steps to the primary suite wrap around and you’ll enter to see the log style bed with electric wall mounted fireplace on a river rock wall The bathroom has heated floors, double vanity, and steam room/shower combination.
- the maximum number of vehicles allowed at this home at any time is 3: 2 in the driveway, and 1 out front of the home (snow permitting) Currently, guest do not have garage access.
- we do allow two of your furry friends to join you on your tahoe get away We love having our pups with us for hikes and family time by the fire. We ask that you pick up after your pet, failure to do so will result in additional fees. You must inform us if you are bringing a pet. Some of our cleaners are allergic and we need to make sure they are safe when coming to prepare the home for the next guest.
- this is not a party house, but a perfect place to getaway for a nice relaxing getaway with friends and family We want to respect our neighbors who make Tahoe their year-round residence.
- this is our second residence and have taken care of the essentials that you will need to come have a wonderful tahoe experience
guest access:
the whole house is a rental, access to bbq, laundry, yards, and entire house
we have a locked owner’s closet, kitchen cabinet, and bathroom cabinet for supplies, these are completely off limits
other things to note:
el dorado county area of south lake tahoe collects a 10% rental tax on all rents collected for the vacation homes, so we collect 10% tax on all reservations, payable through vrbo at the time of booking
surveillance cameras are used outside of the premises (with exception to the front deck with hot tub), only to protect guests and hosts property
the minimum age to rent is 24 years old with valid id Additional charges will be added for any additional guests who come without prior approval, the same with pets.
we are fair with our cancellation policy, but always recommend that guests purchase travel insurance (through a private insurance company) for any unforeseen need to cancel, including but not limited to weather, air quality, road conditions, illness, or any other factor.
