the stock tank pool is cool all summer and is the perfect place to chill after a busy day on the river you could be honing your archery skills, swinging on the swings, playing in the 2 story playhouse, or fishing all day! and if you want to try your luck on possum kingdom lake, itβs only about a half hour away!
bring out your glass of wine or beer and listen to the quiet Kayaks and a canoe offer a close up view of the river, if you choose to put those in. There is no boat ramp, so please choose your "put-in" carefully.
remember, this is in the country and that brings a slew of animals and dangers with it We often see deer (but hunting is not allowed), feral pigs, turkeys, great-horned owls, occasional bobcats, and the night sounds are a wonder to behold.
