Positive: We stayed here over my wedding weekend, and it was absolutely perfect. There were nine of us in total — bridesmaids, their partners, and my mum — and the house couldn’t have been better suited. The hosts kindly allowed us an early check-in on the Friday, which was hugely appreciated, and the check-in process itself was super easy with the lockbox. There were two sets of keys provided, and having the lockbox as well made things really convenient for our group. It meant people could come and go as needed — whether heading out or returning earlier or later — and everyone could access the house easily without needing to coordinate keys. The house is newly renovated, spotlessly clean, and really thoughtfully laid out across three floors. There was plenty of space for everyone, including areas to gather together and quiet spots when we needed our own time. It felt cosy but never cramped. With three full bathrooms, there was never any queue, even with all of us getting ready at the same time! The beds deserve a special mention — hands down the most comfortable mattresses any of us have ever slept on. Firm, supportive, yet soft — everyone raved about them. Each bedroom also had its own TV and fan, which was a lifesaver during the 30°C weekend (and when one room didn’t have a fan, the hosts dropped one off within hours — amazing service!). The kitchen was really well stocked with everything we needed — no dishwasher, but plenty of kitchen roll and space. And the fridge was genuinely incredible — smart screen, crushed ice, chilled water, and massive inside. It even had room for all our bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, buttonholes, and floral supplies for the weekend. On the morning of the wedding, we had hair and makeup artists set up and the house worked perfectly for it — loads of space and great natural light. Parking was easy — free right outside at weekends and manageable during the day with free hours. The location was also ideal for what we needed.
