In the foreground are Mount Vesuvius and the islands of Ischia and Capri. The house is located on the mezzanine floor in an independent building with an independent entrance, close to all services and typical shops that are always open due to the tourist vocation of the place. The house is simply but neatly furnished and offers five bedrooms (2 with sea views), a spacious kitchen with sea views, a living room. On the ground floor at the back there is an outdoor area equipped for al fresco dining. From here, a spiral staircase leads to a terrace with panoramic views of the coast of Castellammare di Stabia, where you will enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The central location is strategically favourable, from here you can reach the harbour just 400 m away with ferry connections to the island of Capri. Pompeii is 4 km away, Sorrento 12 km and Amalfi-Positano-Ravello 16 km. Additional services can be ordered on site (on request and against payment): typical lunches and dinners, special arrangements with organisations for sea-land excursions or for water sports. Possibility to hire bicycles, motorbikes, cars and boats. Nearby there are numerous supermarkets and shops, restaurants, characteristic pizzerias and places that serve typical confectionery and dairy products. A holiday in this house will introduce you to the true culture of the place. Parking in the garage or on the street only for a fee.

Summary: The photos of the views from the property are misleading. They do not show any evidence of the busy road directly outside the property. The fumes from the traffic are constant and the windows had to be kept closed because of the toxic fumes. The noise from the traffic goes on all day and night making sleeping difficult even with all windows closed. We were woken at 5am on one morning by two large tankers emptying the sewer outside; this went on for hours, this happened again at 6am a few days later. A horrid experience. There was a lack of information on how the appliances worked in the property, we were not informed of how or where we could dispose of our rubbish. When we arrived we were asked to pay a large amount for the cleaning fee. The information said cleaning was paid by per person, this is very misleading we were advised by the person that we had to pay the full amount as if the apartment was fully occupied this was the minimum fee for cleaning. Why not just state that cleaning fee is the full amount anyway rather than confusing people by stating that cleaning is this amount per person. This is an exorbitant fee in the first place. We were not given any receipts for the fees paid. The beach was dirty with rubbish covering it. There are signs saying not to enter the water as it is polluted. We had to have all the windows closed all the time because of the toxic fumes from the road, this mean we had to have the air conditioning on all the time. I am hoping we will not be charged for any excess electricity usage. The Roof terrace was a nice addition but the toxic fumes from the road made it impossible to sit up there. A black pollution cloud was visible in the air. The apartment was very clean and we were accommodated for our late arrival and a late departure and felt welcome by the hosts. But our stay was overshadowed by the lack of truthful information regarding the property. The photos of the views of the outside of the property need to be more honest. If we had been aware of this we would not have booked this property.
