Positive: We had a lovely stay, once we overcame the trouble finding it -- the explanatory email did not reach us. Had we received that it would have been easy. The location has a superb view over the valley. The kitchen is well equipped and there are enough comfortable chairs for all guests. Two bathrooms made it easy for our three adults. We did enjoy ourselves -- despite our criticisms below.
Negative: Previous guests had praised the garden but when we arrived it could have been better presented as it was suffering from the unusually hot weather -- made worse by containing 2 dead birds. The house is accesed via an old laneway with uneven steps and the stairs inside the house are narrow. This could be a porblem for anyone with mobility issues. The downstairs bedroom is not really suited to a couple as the bed is against the wall, and it has a single bunk bed above it. Our guest who slept there bumped her head several times getting in and out. We were expecting to find a lift/elevator in the property as per the description even though it was not included in photos -- this was fixed on the Booking.com entry as soon as we commented to the host. The front door had a problem with the lock on our last day and though a temporary fix was put in place, it didn't last. We seemed to get all the problems within our stay.
