There is a huge terrace with outdoor loungers and dining table, perfect for gazing out over the pool and beach or relaxing reading in the sun or in the shade. There is a separate garden, and outside kitchen area to the rear of the property with sink, BBQ/firepit, cushioned Canarian seating and tables and chairs.

the sandy, lifeguarded beach is a comfortable 5 -10 minute walk and never crowded because of its size It is always possible to find a place to sit, with space around, and ideal for children who can wander safely, make castles in the sand and play ball/frisbee etc. There are shells to collect and sometimes drift wood too.
the smart local restaurant (https://restaurantedunasdefamaracom) serving tasty and varied meals and surf school (https://lanzasurf.com) offering high quality surf lessons and equipment hire, yoga, skateboard and horse riding are both within short walking distance (approx 250m). A 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk along the beach takes you to the sleepy caleta where there are 3 small supermarkets and more restaurants. Our favourites here are El Risco and La Mar.

there are lots of lovely walks, short and long, straight out of the house Try the track above the beach, with views across to La Graciosa and down to the beautiful and wild Famara beach, or take a longer hike up to Morro Alto and in to Teguise town for lunch at one of the fantastic restaurants there.
you can drive the short distance across the parque nacional to soo and on to la santa to watch the waves and surfers; you might even be lucky enough to catch sight of a bustard strutting across the tundra.
