With a lovely 17th-century rustic country pub/restaurant directly across the road, Stonehenge Cottages are set in a picturesque village within a 10-minute drive of Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral. Our newly refurbished AA 5-star cottages both include a complimentary luxury continental breakfast hamper, free parking, large flat-screen TVs, free superfast Wi-Fi throughout, and fast electric car charging (at extra cost). Guests can choose from 2 stunning cottages. The Executive Suite has two bedrooms (one king and one twin), two bathrooms/showers, a huge farmhouse-style lounge with a traditional log burner (logs included), a rustic dining table, massive 65-inch cinema-style TV and a fully equipped kitchen with a cooker, dishwasher, microwave, and Nespresso coffee machine. Looking onto woodland, the Junior Suite features a sizable bedroom with a king-size bed, 50-inch flat-screen TV and a big private bathroom/shower, a dining table, and its own kitchen. Both suites have free Netflix, Amazon Prime and BBC iPlayer, plus their own rustic picnic bench and parasol outside to enjoy a glass or two in the evenings during the summer. The outside of the cottages is lit up with fairy lights and lanterns at night to welcome you back from a cozy night in the pub. There is a range of games and books provided for your entertainment, plus there is a children’s playpark a few minutes' drive away. The pub opposite is called The Wheatsheaf Inn, a Hall & Woodhouse pub. The most regular feedback is, “we wish we had booked for longer!” Nearby attractions include Stonehenge, Wilton House, Salisbury Cathedral featuring “The Magna Carta”, Wardour Castle, Old Sarum, Longleat Safari park and Paulton’s Theme Park featuring Peppa Pig World. We are only 1 hour from Bath, and there are a host of fabulous golf courses and fishing areas, plus some of the most beautiful riverside walks.
