Summary: We love the clipper cove neighborhood, and have stayed there for years. This was the first time in this specific home. After driving for 14 hours with three kids, I texted and asked if we could get into the property 30 minutes early. I was told I would have to wait until check in time. So we sat in the driveway for 30 minutes. Although the pictures are accurate, it didn’t really show how beat up the living room and kitchen are. The sofa has an ill fitting slip cover that kept coming off, the living room chairs needed a cleaning, and the kitchen cabinets were dingy. The windowsills, ceiling, fans, and baseboards all had a pretty thick layer of dust and dirt. Although the floors are newish, after walking on them for 10 minutes the bottoms of our feet or socks were black. We ended up spending our first hour wiping surfaces down to make it livable. Vacasa did reach out and say they could send housekeeping, but that was the next day, and we had already taken care of a lot of it and didn’t really want to deal with having housekeeping at our vacation home. We were given very specific instructions about the cable, cable box, and channels. However, there was no cable in the house. All of the TVs are smart TVs, which we appreciated. However, there was no way to watch any live sports throughout our stay. We ended up having to log into our Hulu account in order to watch those. The bedrooms were cute, and the bathrooms were decent. We appreciated the games and beach equipment.
