Beautiful newer home located on the north shore of Lake Miltona that is perfect for a family getaway. Enjoy backyard bonfires while looking for shooting stars or walk down the yard to access the dock for lake fun. The rural location means the neighborhood and lake is less busy than other area lakes which makes for a relaxing vacation. However, it is just a short drive away from Alexandria for great shopping and dining. There are also 3 local wineries and 3 local breweries nearby.
lake miltona is shallow on the north shore with a sandy bottom which makes it perfect for kayaks, paddleboards, floats, and swimming The house is a short 5-minute drive from the public launch if you want to bring a boat or rent one to snag that trophy fish.
if you're looking for other types of recreation nearby, there are multiple golf courses, trails for hiking and biking, as well as the carlos state park lazy river for tubing (unsupported) In the winter, there are miles and miles of snowmobile trails and ice fishing.
