Positive: I loved the community feel. There travelers and vacationers of all ages with different reasons for being there, yet it still had that community feel. There were families with children, solo travelers, surfing groups, and just travelers from all around. I took my well behaved dog and she got to hang out with the other very well behaved dogs; the children wanted to play with my dog which made my dog very happy.There were activities for adults every evening I was there. You could join in bingo, pool tournaments, etc. or hang out at the pool or bar. They have food and drinks as well as bikes and such to tour the island. The expanse of beach is fantastic. There are tons of loungers, a large outdoor bar, pool tables, and a gazebo. My room was great. I had a kitchenette in my place. There is an absolutely outdoor kitchen and eating/relaxation area overlooking the ocean. Really, you don't need to leave the area if you don't want to. I guess the most important thing I have to say is that I will be going back again.
