Positive: Shabby house provided a very unique stay experience, as the house is quite literally built into the mountainside that Jiufen sits on. Our host (謝淑菁/Jane) was extremely kind and helpful in terms of planning our short stay in Jiufen. She gave excellent recommendations for dining and things to do, and gave us detailed instructions on how to get there with a very easy to read map of Jiufen. The house offered spectacular views of the ocean, Jiufen Qingyun temple, and of Jiufen itself. The location was perfect in that it was close enough to Jiufen old street to walk, but was far enough away that our stay was peaceful and quiet. Thanks again for hosting us, and hope to stay with you again in the future!
