this is a great place for a calm, relaxing get away There is not the constant boating activity you get at Lake Winnipesaukee, so this is a place where you can get peace and quiet to relax. On a typical summer day the water is generally flat calm in the morning and the evening. There is a fire pit right on the beach to enjoy the view, the ambiance and the starlit sky's. Sunset Lake also offers excellent fishing with a good variety of bass, pickerel, perch and bluegill which you can enjoy on the private dock.
