Cosy 2 bedroom farm cottage on a working Scotch beef and sheep farm. Central heating throughout and cosy woodburning stove. Located off the A68, we welcome you to see the 1500+ breeding ewes and 100 cattle we have here. We lamb and calve from the end of March for around 6 weeks. Farm and lambing experience sessions are available upon request. Beautiful farm walks with extensive woodlands on site. Crichton Castle 5 minutes drive away. Lovely cafes, pubs and restaurants a 5 minute drive away.
on the farm there is a tennis court which you are invited to use at your leisure
we are situated in a unique location, 20 minutes from edinburgh city centre making it ideal for those wanting both a city and rural experience We are just off the main thoroughfare to the Scottish Borders, with the picturesque town of Melrose just under half an hour away. East Lothian, with the seaside towns of Gullane, North Berwick and Dunbar is also a half hours drive away with fabulous golf courses, beautiful beaches and amazing eateries.
