the house sits on a very large piece of sconset property, that's steps from the beach and ocean
recent renovations includes: heat/ac, hardwood floors throughout, recently renovated modern eat-in kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, spacious living room with island antiques & cable tv, wifi, laundry room, 1 large bedroom on main floor w/ full bath, 2-large upstairs bedrooms w/ full bath If you're lucky enough to score an upstairs bedroom, you can catch the nightly glimmers of the majestic Sankaty Head Lighthouse.
additionally, the property includes back deck (that wraps around the backside of the house and faces into a private yard), toolshed, flagpole & flag, quintessential nantucket landscaping, and private driveway with parking
available for year-round rentals, since the cottage is winterized!

we are available to meet guests upon arrival, providing cottage access and keys or if easier, i am always happy to leave you a key upon arrival

nantucket has car and moped rental services, bike rentals, taxis, uber, and public transportation Coming to the island without a car can be much easier with all of these options; however, if you do rent or bring a car, the cottage has its own private driveway that can accommodate several vehicles or other modes of transportation.
nantucket is very pedestrian friendly, and it can be faster to get around on foot or bike due to the congestion in the summer The island has an extensive network of bike paths, which make traveling by bike quite efficient. Walking and biking are also a great way to experience the many historic sites and natural beauty on Nantucket. luckily our home is located directly across the street!
