Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The cottage was clean, tidy, and felt surprisingly spacious, and the facilities were all in excellent condition.

Negative: Very little. A few creaky floorboards and occasional issues with the (huge) TV struggling to connect to the internet are the only things I could feasibly complain about, but we were out for most of our stay so it wasn't a major problem. The absence of a TV in the main bedroom seemed a strange choice, but again, not a problem for us.

Summary: Nice, spacious, and an excellent location for Thirsk town centre.
