Welcome to Pop's Dam Lakehouse & Lookout, a rustic, two-bedroom, pet-friendly lakehouse located on Lake Buchanan, 1.5 hours northwest of Austin Bergstrom Airport (driving times can vary depending on traffic/routes taken). Relax and unwind in this small community on the lake in the Texas Hill Country and enjoy exploring the lake, having refreshments on your two-story outdoor bar, kicking back on your hammock, eating s'mores by the fire pit, playing yard games, and grilling on the gas grill/smoker combo. Due to fluctuating water levels, sometimes this cozy cabin offers lakefront access but not always. Currently, lake levels are low and guests can expect a 15 minute walk to access the lake.

located on lake buchanan in the texas hill country, this rustic home with its fully equipped kitchen has practically everything you need for a relaxing vacation and refreshing change-of-scenery, including:

regarding pets, pet fees are $125 + $20/pet/night + any applicable taxes We will charge the card on file. Those fees will be processed by Distinguished Stays. We ask that you only bring well-behaved pets who are house-trained :) You are responsible for picking up after any pet brought to the property, any damage or disturbance caused by pets, and accept all liability for incidents involving pets. Please note this property is not fenced; however, there is a fully-fenced, small area for dogs on the right side of the home. thank you!

even with our regular pest management services, it's possible you may encounter wildlife and other creatures at this property, including fire ants, scorpions, wasps, and snakes Enjoy but be careful and stay on our property at your own risk.

- the water level is still very low at lake buchanan, it does not currently come up to the property, and the dock is on dry land
- ask about our boat rental or bring your own boat
- we do not recommend using the boat dock at this property, especially when lake water is not present at the dock if you do choose to use it, please use at your own risk and be careful!
- 3 kayaks with lifevests are available for use
- there is a trampoline on this property Please use caution when using and use at your own risk.
