welcome to this 1918 built cape cod old house in east durham, we are in a residential neighborhood a short 7 minutes east of downtown durham!
while we are not likely to be onsite to welcome you or during your stay, we are easily accessible and timely in responding via the booking platform website/apps between 6am to 9pm est We can also be reached via text message or phone call in the event of an emergency. Our phone number will be provided prior to check in.

durham is a diverse and ever changing city If this is your first time to Durham, please be aware that you will see people of all walks of life. There are many renovated homes nearby and you will find most local residents to be friendly. Please be courteous and respectful to all neighbors.
please park on southgate street in front of the home (either side of the street is fine but stay at least 15 feet back from the intersection)

the door uses the august home smart lock and can be accessed by sending us your cellphone information prior to check in Once you provide your cellphone and we add your number, you will receive a text message with additional instructions on how to download the app. Upon arrival to the front door, simply open the August Home app and press the circle to unlock the front door (the phone will sense the door lock via Bluetooth). We will also send you a unique pin pad code either as a backup or for primary use if you prefer not to download the door lock app.

please note there are steps up the front porch to enter the house Once inside, everything is on a single level. There are security cameras on the front porch.

once inside, the property opens to a living room with a couch, coffee table and smart tv where you can access your streaming services One bedroom containing a day bed with a pull out full mattress is to the left. The second and largest bedroom is located off the right of the living room. this room contains a queen bed and access to the master bathroom (shower)
continuing down the hallway, you will find the third bedroom (queen bed) and then the kitchen The kitchen has a dining table for four, newer stainless steel appliances and basic pots, pans, cutlery, etc. There is currently no dishwasher at this location.
at the rear of the house you will find a large bathroom (tub/shower combo) with adjacent laundry area equipped with a washing machine and dryer.
