Summary: The good part is that the home has a large nice garden and is well located close to the beach and with some shops and restaurants close by. It also has it own access and a parking space. The kitchen,while old, had all necessary appllances and sufficient plates and glasses. A dish washer would have been nice but we knew taht before. What we did not like was that it is basically a cellar and it was a bit damp and a bit smelly. After taking a shower it was difficult to get the humidity out as the windows are so smal. Some of the door frames were also very low and as I am 1,85m tall I had to walk kind of crouched and still bumped my head a few times. Waht we also did not like so mcuh is that the owners who lived in the house on top of us could from their garden look into both bedrooms and to get privacy we would have to close the shutters. Another drawback was that there was no WiFi and in the basement was not mobile phone receptions probably due to the thick walls and ceiling. The last thing was that our landlords told us that we would not allowed to bring anyone home or in the garden so we could not meet our friends there. So all in all we found it a very negative experience and decided to cut our two week vacation short instead of staying longer.
