hosting up to four guests, in two bedrooms, this charming cottage has been thoughtfully refurbished by the current owners to ensure that wonderful memories are made for their guests On entering from the enclosed garden you are welcomed to the dining area with a table and four chairs, leading to the kitchen. A sociable space, allowing for food preparation and chatting at the same time. The Norfolk pamment tiled floor flows through the whole ground floor, lending a sense of the timeless history of this traditional cottage.
the pretty cottage kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to rustle up tasty meals, if you choose not to dine in one of the many pubs and restaurants in the area There is a cooker with an electric hob, fan assisted oven and grill, fridge, small freezer (tucked away in a cupboard in the sitting room) and a dishwasher; along with well stocked cupboards.
the cosy sitting room is to the front of the cottage with exposed beams and is perfect for relaxing with a book or in front of the tv and in the colder months to warm toes in front of the wood burning stove There are two comfy squashy sofas, occasional tables and bookshelves and even a bureau, just in case you have to catch up on some work whilst you are staying.
up the traditional norfolk winder staircase to the first floor For those not in the know, Norfolk Winder staircases are commonplace in cottages throughout the county, they are recognisable by their relatively steep, winding nature, often with narrower treads than a modern staircase.
