House has open airy floor plan, bright interior with skylights, cathedral ceilings and a fieldstone fireplace. Mini-split air conditioning units throughout. Large patio with chaises, dining table and gas grill. Upstairs has a bedroom with twin beds, and another with a queen bed and attached bath with a raised 2-person jacuzzi (no shower). Downstairs has the living and eat-in kitchen areas, a sparkling new tile bath w/shower, and a bedroom with a double bed. The yard is at the end of a quiet street. 1/2 mile walk or bike to a 'community-only' sand beach (pass for Kelly Beach provided), or 3 miles (bike lane available) to the Narragansett Town Beach (plus 4 other beaches within 10 min). URI, Newport and the Block Island Ferry are just 10 minutes away, as is America's #1 small historic town, Wickford. Also nearby: bike/ canoe/ kayak rentals, tennis, pickleball, golf, fishing and children's activities. 10-day minimum during peak summer season..

Summary: My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely. Our dog might have enjoyed it the most out of all of us. You can walk to most locations of need and than retreat to the quiet neighborhood and relax. We stayed for a month and i think i saw one car go by in front of the house. It felt safe to walk as it felt no one was in a rush to get where they were going. We didn't want to leave but life goes on.
