exploring out the back door is our favorite thing about this home Bring your bike or rent one for a cruise around town and out to the sweeping views of the Columbia River at Strawberry Island. Dip into Hamilton Creek, flowing just a short walk from your front door, for some water play time and exploration. The Pierce Wildlife Refuge nearby attracts migratory birds, turtles and other wildlife for viewing. You can also bring your discs or clubs for a round of golf either at the disc golf course in town or the Beacon Rock golf course just down the road.
and that is just within walking distance of your front door Numerous trails and sights lay within a 10 mile radius, like the waterfalls pouring off the basalt cliffs on the Oregon side near Cascade Locks or viewing the migrating salmon through the fish windows at Bonneville Dam. The Pacific Crest Trail crosses the Columbia River just a mile outside of North Bonneville. Take a spur off the trail to see Dry Creek Falls, making the out-and-back adventure one to remember. Basically, the adventure options here are truly endless.

We also love the Walking Man Brewery in Stevenson, just 4 miles away. The character, the food, and the brews all make it one of our favorite places. You can also sit outside at Thunder Island Brewing in Cascade Locks just across the Bridge of the Gods in Oregon.
