Summary: The house provided a very good landing space for a Thanksgiving trip to visit family. A wheelchair for my father in law in his 90's was accommodated well in the single level floorplan. We didn't need textbook wheelchair accessibility - if you're trying to cook and make independent transfers I would not consider the space accessible, but the wide halls and large bathroom made it work very well for us. Our 'car' for the trip was a 27UJayco RV, and it fit comfortably in the driveway (30' long RV) The house is well equipped with cooking tools - we make a few side dishes for Thanksgiving and only needed to borrow a potato masher from family. It appears that whoever furnished the house likes to cook and that was very appreciated! A suggestion is to have a few more chairs. There are 4 chairs around the dining table, and easily sleeping space for 6. If you eat in the living room, you don't have a problem. We made it work by using the one extra chair in the house, and boosting the table up so the wheelchair could be used at the table. In the same vein, there is only one bedside table in each bedroom. Totally get trends, but an extra table and lamp (one on each side) makes it far more comfortable when you are hosting people who still read paper books :) A desk/dresser or chair - something to put things on would also be welcome in the two bedrooms that didn't have the built in desk. The house and yard do have ongoing maintenance - upkeep will be a thing with a house this age, but everything functioned. I blocked a break in the fence with a bucket/ bricks from the yard before letting our pups have free rein. The enterprising neighbor mama cat figured out how to un-do my fix so she and her kittens could visit the pool (not usable due to temps and also many, many leaves - likely lovely in the summer with shade from the big tree) they were very cute and provided good entertainment from the bright windows onto the back yard. The neighborhood is lovely with very easy access to main roads. I debated 4 or 5 stars, this isn't a space where you come in and there are flowers on the table and a welcome note, but it is reasonably priced, very functional and clean. It worked 5 stars for this trip!
